GGF Training, an education and training organisation, has been approved by TrustMark as a new scheme operator for the window installers and glazing trades, and to help sign up firms to the Government-endorsed quality scheme, which helps homeowners find quality and expert local tradespeople.
Following the success in achieving scheme operator status for TrustMark, GGF Training will give its customer base the opportunity to apply to become TrustMark registered. As a result GGF Training’s future members will then carry the TrustMark badge to give additional protection and reassurance to customers.
GGF Training, a subsidiary owned by the GGF Group, delivers a range of training solutions to work with the fenestration and glazing sector at every level. The company is committed to providing a benchmark for all of its TrustMark registered firms by ensuring its organisational processes, principles and procedures are maintained to a high standard.
GGF Training became a licensed TrustMark scheme operator in August, following a thorough assessment of all its processes for vetting and inspecting contractors as well as its customer service policies, compliance audits, quality management and complaint handling procedures.
Jon Vanstone, Managing Director of GGF Training affirmed, “As a champion of best practice, we believe in developing and maintaining a qualified and skilled workforce, encouraging all trades to uphold industry benchmarks for the benefit of individual traders, companies and consumers alike. Becoming a Scheme Operator reinforces our commitment to supporting our industry and provides our members with a badge that they can show to customers, proving that they have been vigorously assessed and inspected and will work to Government-endorsed standards. It’s a very proud day for GGF Training.
“The human aspect of GGF Training has always been a differentiating factor of the business. At the heart, GGF Training is passionate about people and we know this will continue to be shown through the care and attention we will show our TrustMark registered firms”.
Simon Ayers, Chief Executive of TrustMark, said: “We are delighted to have GGF Training as a new Scheme Operator, particularly as they demonstrated a willingness to embrace the high standards and responsibilities we expect of all scheme operators. Parent company GGF, also a TrustMark scheme operator, has been a great advocate for the scheme since the beginning, so to have one of its subsidiaries on board is a great endorsement. GGF Training were able to provide all the relevant qualifications and information easily, which sped up the approval process our end.”
