As Treecare (Arboricultural Specialists) Ltd celebrate its 40th year Izabella Radziwillowicz the Director of Treecare Ltd reflects on the past four decades in business. The company was founded in 1982 by Edward Radziwillowicz, who started with one truck, climbing trees during the day and typing quotes in the evenings from his studio flat. His proverbial ‘two man’ band was soon joined by other young arborists, who shared Ed’s passion for trees and enjoyed the challenges of urban tree surgery. The company grew over the years and established itself as the leading tree surgery business with excellent customer service and top quality work. Throughout this time Ed established some of the core principles of urban tree surgery which are still in use throughout London today. Treecare was one of the first companies to be awarded membership of the prestigious Arboricultural Association. This membership recognises our continued hard work in the industry and obliges us to provide the highest standards of Arboricultural services, while always adhering to and implementing everchanging Health and Safety requirements. Over the years we have helped to ensure professional industry development and have been instrumental in planting hundreds of trees across London. We perceive ourselves as custodians of London’s trees.
